The Plays and Players Theatre was built in 1913 and is one of the oldest, continually used theaters in the United States. Plays and Players has grown over the past 100 years to be a quality professional theater devoted to supporting local artists. The Arts and Crafts-inspired theater houses two distinct performance venues, as well as small meeting spaces and a members-only pub. Lori was part of the multi-disciplinary master plan team organized by the Community Design Collaborative and assisted in developing prioritized architectural recommendations, researching special conservation issues, and outlining an interpretive plan and tour. She has continued her involvement with Plays and Players as a member of the Preservation Committee, aiding with grant assistance, emergency stabilization projects, maintenance concerns, and long-term planning.
